Most Rev'd Neville Anderson was originally ordained deacon and priest  by the Church of England in Australia after extensive period of study.

He was ordained by    ……….in Australia.


Conversion.

After over 20 years working as a Church of England priest in Australia he converted to Catholicism.

He was re-ordained deacon and priest in to Vatican I Catholic Orders in Victoria, Australia.

His Holiness the Patriarch's Mandate.

Rev'd Fr. Neville Anderson received an Apostolic Mandate by His Holiness the Patriarch of Brazil. Archbishop of Brasilia DF. Most Rev'd Dom Luis Fernando Castillo Mendez.

Episcopal consecration announced.

within months of receiving his Apostolic Manadet for the Episcopal Consecration. Rev'd Fr. Anderson travelled to the Patriarchal cathedral in Brasilia DF Brazil and was consecrated as Auxiliary Bishop for the Catholic Church in Australia.

Rev'd Fr. Neville Anderson was consecrated to the Episcopate pre Vatican II Rites and Rubrics by Most Rev'd Dom. Luis Fernando Castillo Mendez,  His Holiness the Patriarch of Brazil, (He was consecrated by Roman Catholic bishop Carlos Duarte Costa and Bishop Salamao Ferraz on the 3rd May 1948) .

 Most Rev'd Dom. Luis Fernando Castillo Mendez was assisted by co-consecrators for Bishop Andersons consecration by Most Rev'd  Dom Josivaldo Pereira de Oliveira, Auxiliary Bishop of Rio de Janerio & Most Rev'd Dom. Joanir da Silva Neves, Diocesan bishop of Cabo Frio - RJ. Their was also present some further 10 fellow bishops including Archbishop James Atkinson-Wake.

Elevation.

Most Rev'd Neville Anderson. D.Div. B.Theol former Auxiliary Bishop of Victoria Australia was granted to join  the Catholic Church of England & Ireland that was under the direct office of His Holiness. However permission was granted creating a presence within Australia. 


Archbishop Atkinson-Wake presented letters of petition to His Holiness who accepted Archbishop James Atkinson-Wake advice and council.


In early 2007, the Catholic Church of England & Ireland became known as the Catholic Church of England & Wales including Ireland.


Most Rev'd Neville Anderson was elevated as Archbishop of Ballarat in Victoria, Australia by Most Rev'd James Atkinson-Wake who was appointed and elevated Archbishop and Superior General of CCEW (Catholic Church of England & Wales) & the religious Franciscan Order Society of Pope Leo XIII that still exits as one within CCEW along with other religious society's by His Holiness by Patriarchal decree.

ARCHBISHOP NEVILLES APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION SLIGHTLY DIFFERS TO ARCHBISHOP ATKINSON-WAKE'S.

The apostolic line of Archbishop Anderson slightly differs to that of the Superior general by one co-consecrator being that of  Most Rev'd Dom. Joanir da Silva Neves, Diocesan bishop of Cabo Frio - RJ.


The Principal consecrator was Most Rev'd Dom Luis Fernando Castillo Mendez and 1st Co-consecrator was  Most Rev'd  Dom Josivaldo Pereira de Oliveira, Auxiliary Bishop of Rio de Janerio & 2nd Co-consecrator was  Most Rev'd Dom. Joanir da Silva Neves, Diocesan bishop of Cabo Frio - RJ. He in turn was consecrated by Most Rev'd Jose Antenor da Rocha who in turn was consecrated by Most Rev'd Dom. Olinto Ferreira Pinto Filho who was consecrated by Most Rev'd Dom. Pedro dos Santos Silva  who was consecrated by Roman Catholic Bishop Carlos Duarte Costa on the 4 November 1956.
